Congratulations Jaime & Greg!

inclosed would like to congratulate Jaime and Greg on their wedding this past weekend! We had such a great time working with this couple and designing their cherry blossom themed wedding stationery. Jaime and Greg were married this past Saturday at the W Hotel in Washington, D.C. We also had the pleasure of creating their letterpress menu cards, custom-printed cocktail napkins, programs and matching thank you notes. Here are a few pictures of their wedding stationery. Furniture arrives at inclosed!

New Chairs at inclosed - wedding stationery
We have been waiting patiently at inclosed for our new furniture to arrive. The waiting has stopped and our furniture finally arrived last week! Yay! Above is a picture of our new swanky chairs for our Bridal Lounge area. This area will be for brides and clients to relax, read through magazines, look through our wedding stationery collection and have full view of our retail area. Brides & customers will also be able to sip on some champagne while they are waiting. The bridal lounge is going to be a great place!

We ordered this gorgeous secretary chest for some of the retail. We are super excited about this piece. We are going to put boxed letterpress stationery on the shelves, we are going to put amazing jewelry and hair accessories on the shelves. Artwork will be hung above the chairs by an amazing, local artist. Details to come soon!
New tables at inclosed-wedding invitations
We also ordered a couple of really chic tables to go on the retail side. The tables are stainless steel and look really awesome with the industrial look of the space. Letterpress stationery and lovely wedding accessories will be sold on these tables.
Next part: Setting up the retail! This is going to be so much fun. We will post pictures of the amazing stationery, artwork and jewelry soon!

New Signs + New Wallpaper

I can’t believe April is going to be here next week! The last part of winter really flew by and now we so are excited to welcome Spring down at the shop!
It is going to be so refreshing to open the doors and to set up potted plants and flowers outside of the doors. I can just see it now…

Our signs were finally able to go up in March. We had to wait until the windows were warm enough for the white vinyl to adhere properly. The wait paid off and I am so happy people are now finally able to see the signs from the street. We also placed our signature flowers along the bottom of the windows. Very appropriate for this time of the year, don’t ya think?!

Our wallpaper also went up in March. The design is amazing and it’s perfect for the space! Take a look! Or better yet, come down to the shop and see for yourself, we would love to see you!

Sundays With The Old Man

The Old Man
For the last couple of months, my Sundays have been spent with The Old Man: Our C&P Letterpress that is. We bought this little guy about a year ago and we still had not found an appropriate name for him. Some other names thrown out were Winston, J.P. and Archibald. Then one day, my sister called our dad “Old Man” and like a bolt of lightning, our C&P had been appropriately named: The Old Man.
My dad, sister and I have been the three musketeers recently… especially on Sundays. So I thought it would be really sweet to dedicate a space on my blog for our little Sunday printing parties! We might even have to start sending out invitations because they are that much fun….
Chocolate Hippo with The Old Man
My sister Libbie lives in Germany with her husband and three kids. She always seems to find the most interesting and yummy treats to send to us Americans. This Sunday, we enjoyed a tasty Happy Hippo, it was so delish! Isn’t he cute?! Sorry buddy!
This Sunday’s project was inclosed business cards. Since we opened up a storefront, we had to print new cards. I ordered awesome handmade paper from Porridge Papers in Lincoln, Nebraska. The paper is so amazing so I wanted to keep the copy and design very simple and clean.

Shop Update + Decorations!

Meeting Area, Wedding Invitations Omaha, NE
I wanted to post some new pictures of our recent decorating projects for the shop and show our progression…. It does not happen over night, but hopefully by April, everything will be up and we’ll be all set! Above is the picture of our meeting room with a couple of bookshelves to showcase some of our recent invitations. It’s a really cool way to display invites without books.

I decided to add new colors to inclosed’s color scheme: RED and GREY and every PINK under the sun! I have noticed pink and black are becoming ever so popular so I wanted to change it up a little, to make sure we stand out from other stationers on-line and in town.
Our “inclosed studio” banner is a temporary sign until it’s warm enough for our signs to go on the windows…. I can’t wait! I will for sure take pics once those are up! I have to thank my neighbor and friend Jess Brashear for helping me sew, attach and hang the banner! You are the best Jess! Thank you!

On the other side of the store will be our letterpress shop, retail for stationery and wedding little lovelies! There will also be a sitting area, “a bridal lounge” is what I am calling it. Cute, right?! I ordered furniture and wall-paper which will arrive in the next couple of weeks, I will update once the next phase is complete!
